WATCH! August 20, 2020, Creative Economy Meeting

SARA convened a meeting of the Creative Economy on Thursday, August 20, to introduce Sacramento’s new Arts Manager, Megan Van Voorhis to the community and to share resources for how to effectively advocate for the next CARES act allocation to our sector. City Council will convene on Tuesday, September 1, to consider an additional $6.9mil for Sacramento's creative sector. As we all know the arts were the first to be closed by the pandemic and will be the last to reopen. Your voices are needed to help ensure we'll be here to welcome you all back when this is over.
