CALL TO ACTION: ARPA funds to the arts on the consent calendar at City Council Meeting tonight!

Artists, arts workers and arts supporters, please attend tonight’s meeting or post public comment by noon today. Here are the talking points to express to the Council.

Thank you Mayor Steinberg for leading the way on investing in the creative economy and we know that

  • Artists and performers have been disproportionately affected by the pandemic

  • The industry as a whole needs general support to ensure we make it through the uncertainty of the pandemic.

  • Arts workers are workers and they contribute to our economy as much as they make Sacramento a vibrant city.
