Important Study: Your Input is Needed
AMS Planning & Research, an international arts management consulting firm (www.ams-online.com), has been engaged by the City of Rancho Cordova to help define the characteristics of potential arts and cultural spaces as part of Rancho Cordova’s Mills Crossing Civic Center (MCCC) development, to be located in Rancho Cordova on Folsom Boulevard (click here to view the site on Google Maps).
As part of this study, AMS is working to better understand the design and operating implications of incorporating arts and cultural components in this development. AMS is providing two opportunities for input from arts and cultural organizations and individual artists in the Sacramento Region:
AMS has launched an online potential user needs survey for any individual or organization who engages in arts and cultural activities. This survey helps gauge interest and understand the unique needs, desires, and capacity of area users. It is incredibly important to hear from a broad array of organizations and individuals. If you participated in the 2019 Rancho Cordova survey, please respond to this as well; this survey asks questions specific to the development project. Click here to complete the potential user survey.
Additionally, AMS is hosting a Zoom focus group on October 20 from 6-7pm. During this meeting, AMS will facilitate a conversation around arts and culture as part of this development. Click here to register for the focus group on October 20. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about adding it to your calendar and joining the meeting.
Thank you in advance for your participation in both of these important efforts as we investigate the possibilities for Rancho Cordova. If you have any questions about the project, survey, or focus group you can contact Bill Blake (bblake@ams-online.com) or Melora Cybul (mcybul@ams-online.com) from the AMS team.

FAIR OAKS RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT SURVEY
“The Fair Oaks Recreation and Park District has engaged AMS Planning & Research, an arts management consulting firm, to assist in an arts and culture programming study. We are researching potential user needs of facilities and would value your feedback, including whether or not you would have interest in utilizing space in Fair Oaks. If you, your organization, or artist(s) you know have any interest at all in utilizing space in Fair Oaks, please complete and share the survey at this link: Fair Oaks Potential User Survey
We encourage you to complete each question, so we have as complete a response from as many potential users as possible. It should take 15 minutes to complete the survey. If you know of any potential arts organizations or individual artists who may be interested in producing, presenting, or renting space in Fair Oaks, please share this with them as well.
Thank you. Any questions may be forwarded directly to Jonathan Spangler, at jspangler@ams-online.com”
