Davis Arts Center

MISSION:

Davis Arts Center is a gathering place for dynamic engagement with the arts. Through multidisciplinary classes and programs for the regional community, we inspire creative expression in people of all ages and foster an environment for the arts to flourish.

HISTORY/INFORMATION:

Since 1960 we have brought creativity to hundreds of thousands of people through classes and events at our building in Davis and throughout the Sacramento region and Yolo County through partnerships with First 5 Yolo, the Yolo Crisis Nursery, school districts in Sacramento, Yolo and Solano Counties, Parent Teacher Associations, businesses, RISE, Inc and NAMI Yolo County. As a non-profit we rely on donations from our community. Hundreds of artists have launched their teaching careers, shown artwork at Davis Arts Center or performed on either our indoor or outdoors stages. We believe creativity has the power to sustain us during difficult times and help us celebrate the joyous times. Davis Arts Center strives to foster meaningful experiences through art. Our focus is skill development and accessing your authentic story, giving you a safe space to experiment, problem solve, and build community.
