Sacramento Ballet, a stalwart of the region's arts scene for more than six decades, entertains, educates, inspires, and engages people through the powerful vehicle of dance. More than 35,000 attend our performances each season; many more participate in our School of Ballet and our community engagement programs.

Sacramento Ballet is the region’s only resident professional arts company. With an annual budget approaching $3 million, we are one of the larger arts organizations in this part of the state.

This is the second year under Artistic Director Amy Seiwert, who enjoys a solid reputation for artistic excellence and innovation. Supporting her is a senior management team with national experience, an international company of 22 classically trained dancers who call Sacramento home, an inaugural Trainee group of 12 artists on the cusp of their professional careers, an experienced Board of Directors, and a staff with deep expertise. Barbara Crocket founded the company in 1954.
